Taiyuan Attractions


Taiyuan, referred to as "(bīng)", Gu Cheng Jinyang, another name and state, Dragon, is Shanxi provincial capital, Taiyuan metropolitan core cities, the State Council of China approved determine the central region 's major cities. As of 2018, the city has 6 districts, 3 counties, and 1 county-level city under its jurisdiction, with a total area of 6,909 square kilometers, a built-up area of 438 square kilometers, a permanent population of 4,421,500, and an urban population of 3,752,700. The urbanization rate is 84.88%. The permanent population in 2019 was 4,461,900. Taiyuan is located in North China, central Shanxi, and the northern end of the Taiyuan Basin. It is adjacent to Xinzhou City in the north, Yangquan City in the east, Luliang City in the west, and Jinzhong City in the south. It is the political, economic and cultural center of Shanxi Province, and the national sustainable development agenda. The Innovation Demonstration Zone is an important military and cultural town in northern China, a city of Shanxi merchants, and one of China's important energy and heavy industry bases. It is an excellent tourist city and a national garden city in China.

Conference Venue
Cangshan, original named Yushan, now is national 5A scenic, about 18km away from Yu County in Yangquan City in Shanxi Province. Cangshan mountain faces Shijiazhuang City in the east, links Taiyuan City in the west, lies Wutai Mountain and Xibaipo in the north, and stands opposite Niangziguan in the south.
Twin Pagoda Temple is originally called Yongzuo Temple; the two great pagodas in this temple were more impressive for people. So, people began to call it Shuangta (Twin Pagodas) Temple gradually. With the time past, the Twin Pagodas Temple had replaced the Yongzuo Temple and became famous till now.
Chang Family Manor, built during the Qing Dynasty, has witnessed the past glory of Chang’s family for over 200 years. As Chang family were famous Shanxi businessmen in the Qing Dynasty, the Chang’s Mansion in Yuci County is a showcase of designable artwork of ancient buildings in the northern part of China, meanwhile, the spirit of Chang family has been well-kept in the bricks.
Jinci Temple is situated in the southwestern Taiyuan, Shanxi Province. There are more than 10 ancient architectures in this temple. And the quiet environment, charming scenery, marvelous buildings, and the lively article statures make Jinci Temple become famous in the world for decades of years.

Ranking as the top 10 resorts in China, Mount Wutai was listed as a member in the World Heritage Sites by UNESCO in 2009. Mount Wutai is home to some of the oldest existent wooden buildings in China that have survived since the era of the Tang Dynasty (618–907). This includes the main hall of Nanchan Monastery and the East Hall of Fuguang Monastery, built in 782 and 857, respectively.
In 1381, the temple was extended. In the 19th century, most of the temple was destroyed. The temple is home to the Buddhist Association of Shanxi Province and includes the Bell Tower, the Dabei Hall, and the east and west wing rooms. The main hall has a statue of Guanyin, Goddess of Mercy, with 1000 hands and eyes.
